The Farmhaus is a labor of love and we consider our couples a part of our family. Every time a new couple gets married at the Farmhaus, our family grows! Now seven years into business, we even have Farmhaus babies in the mix! Our couples tell us they loved getting married at the Farmhaus because of this personal touch. Many venues are cold and impersonal with tons of rules and restrictions. Although we do have rules, we are here to say yes as much as possible and make those wedding dreams come true!

When you book your wedding with us, our entire venue is at your disposal. There are endless combinations for using the space to your desire! No two weddings at the Farmhaus are exactly alike!

Our unique 100 foot long barn is the ideal setting for any and all of the event activities. With a total of six mirrored sets of large sliding barn doors, you can see straight through the building to provide a seamless experience of being in the peaceful country while enjoying indoor modern amenities. The barn serves as a blank canvas for the hosts to decorate in accordance with their vision for the event. Take advantage of the height of the barn as well, using our hanging cast iron baskets and wooden installations to display greenery, florals, pops of color, or additional soft lighting above the dance floor and reception area. Our custom made reclaimed wood reception tables bring in a natural element to the modern reception barn, softening the space and creating a romantic ambiance. The dark wood reception chairs add a sophistication to the barn, combining with all of the elements to make our reception barn a space that can bring any vision for an event to fruition.

Converted into the dedicated outdoor bar, the original Smokehouse on the property is located under four grand pecan trees. The space is versatile, but is most often used as an outdoor cocktail area. It makes for the perfect location for guests enjoy the nice breeze, a refreshing beverage, and small bites under Edison style lights and a gorgeous Texas sky during the transition from ceremony to reception.

Built in 1914, the original historic farmhaus has been converted to suit all needs for the bride and her wedding party the day of her event. It has been recently renovated and features lofty 12 foot ceilings, multiple rooms for the ladies to relax and prepare for the day, a restroom, kitchen area and more, the 1500 square foot Bridal Suite accommodates all the Bride’s needs. It is a cozy space and makes the Bride feel relaxed and at home on her wedding day, freeing her to enjoy every moment. The Groom's Suite is the ultimate space for the groom and his entourage to unwind and enjoy each other’s company prior to wedding festivities getting underway. The suite includes a custom poker table, ping pong table, pool table, private outdoor space, and more.

Our chapel is the pure definition of idyllic. It is a custom designed chapel that features unique treasures from churches around Texas. The space is covered, yet open air, blending both traditional and modern vibes. We have carefully selected every piece that is in the chapel, including the real church steeple from Alice, the pews from churches in Houston and Corpus Christi, the large 9 foot stained glass windows from Round Top, and all the stained glass accent windows. Pick from our included ceremony backdrops to complete the ceremony site, or from the rentals our sister company, Accents and Events offers. And don’t forget to ring the bell after you’ve tied the knot! Every angle of the chapel is perfect for your pictures!

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN THE SPACE ACCOMODATE?

The venue is conveniently located between IH-35 and IH-10, just east of downtown New Braunfels. The address is 2606 FM 758 and can be easily spotted as it is directly across the street from the New Braunfels Municipal Airport Doppler Tower. View it in Google Maps here.

Where is The Allen Farmhaus located?

A short 10 minute drive will get you into the heart of Downtown New Braunfels. Conveniently located between IH-35 and IH-10, guests can take either highway to get to San Antonio within half an hour. A quick 45 minute drive on I-35 will put you into the heart of Austin.

HOW FAR IS THE ALLEN FARMHAUS FROM NEARBY CITIES?

Lodging is not offered on site, however, there are multiple hotels less than 10 minutes from the location. There are also VRBO and Airbnb options available within a 5 minute drive, including a few that we host ourselves, which you can check out on our lodging page! A list of hotels within a 10 mile radius and other suggested rental options can be provided upon request.

do you offer lodging?

Yes, however, all rules and regulations of the state and of The Allen Farmhaus must be followed. The Host’s are required to hire one of the recommended Professional Bartending Companies of The Allen Farmhaus. The hired vendor will provide TABC licensed bartenders and also have their own insurance.

can we provide our own alcohol?

We highly recommend that the host of the event contracts one of the recommended vendors of The Allen Farmhaus, however, it is not a requirement. The host of the event must hire a professional caterer that is full service, stays from the beginning to the end of the event, cleans tables and any spills during the event, manages and takes out trash during the event, and takes out all trash in the barn and porches at the conclusion of the event and puts them in the onsite dumpster. All caterers must provide proof of insurance, agree to our catering rules, and sign our catering contract. If you would like a list of wonderful caterers that have done a wonderful job at events at The Allen Farmhaus, we will be happy to provide information upon request.

mAY I CHOOSE MY OWN CATERER?

The Allen Farmhaus does not provide A/V equipment. It is the host's responsibility to provide and/or contract the A/V equipment for the event.

may i bring in my own a/v equipment?

We will discuss a rain plan long before your wedding day. We will allow you to use the full facility in order to assure that regardless of rain or shine, you will proceed with your plans.

WHAT DO WE DO IF IT RAINS?

Your rental time is 11am to 11pm. If clients would like to use the facility before 11am, there is an additional fee and it must be arranged beforehand with a representative of The Allen Farmhaus. All events must be concluded by 11pm.

WHAT TIMES MAY WE USE THE VENUE?

Please contact us here to book an event. All bookings are made on a first come, first served basis. The first payment and the signed contract and rules and regulations document are required to secure the date.

how can i reserve my date?

All payments made to The Allen Farmhaus are final. All payments made to The Allen Farmhaus are nonrefundable and nontransferable. If for any reason an event is cancelled, any and all monies paid to The Allen Farmhaus to date will not be refunded or transferred to another date. In regards to monies still owed in the contract, our policies and procedures will be outlined in the contract and rules and regulations document. Venue rental fees are to be paid out in 3 payments – 25%, 25%, 50%. To secure the date, the first payment of 25% is due at the time of signing both the contract and rules and regulations document. The second payment of 25% is due 60 days after the first payment and will be outlined in the contract. The final payment of 50% is due 60 days before the wedding and is outlined in the contract.


What is the payment plan and is any of it refundable?

Client(s) are required to obtain day of special event insurance that covers a minimum of $1,000,000 worth of damages and names The Allen Farmhaus as additional insured. This insurance must be obtained and a copy provided to The Allen Farmhaus 30 days prior to the event. The caterer and bartending company must also have insurance and provide a copy of their insurance to The Allen Farmhaus prior to the event.


WHAT IS THE INSURANCE REQUIREMENT?

Wedding sparklers, bubbles, glow sticks, and retractable streamers are allowed for send off. Birdseed, rice, confetti, glitter, dried leaves and/or flower petals are absolutely not permitted for decor or send off.

WHAT CAN WE USE FOR SENDOFF?

Tours are by appointment only. Please keep in mind that the venue is private property, and to see the facility you must have a representative from The Allen Farmhaus present.
