The Allen Farmhaus Wedding and Events Venue in New braunfels

How many guests can the space accommodate?

250 guests seated with a dance floor and DJ/band area, 299 for a cocktail style event.  (*Please note a larger party of 300+ can be accommodated on a case by case basis.)

Where is The Allen Farmhaus located?

The venue is conveniently located between IH-35 and IH-10, just east of downtown New Braunfels. The address is 2606 FM 758 and can be easily spotted as it is directly across the street from the New Braunfels Municipal Airport Doppler Tower. View it in Google Maps here.

How far is Downtown New Braunfels?

A short 10 minute drive will get you into the heart of Downtown New Braunfels.

How far is San Antonio?

Conveniently located between IH-35 and IH-10, guests can take either highway to get to San Antonio within half an hour.

How far is Austin?

A quick 45 minute drive on I-35 will put you into the heart of Austin.

Do you offer lodging?

Lodging is not offered on site, however, there are multiple hotels less than 10 minutes from the location. There are also an infinite amount of VRBO and Airbnb options available within a 5 minute drive that are great for large parties that want to stay together. A list of hotels within a 10 mile radius and other suggested rental options can be provided upon request.

Can we provide our own alcohol?

Yes, however, all rules and regulations of the state and of The Allen Farmhaus must be followed. The Host’s are required to hire one of the recommended Professional Bartending Companies of The Allen Farmhaus. The hired vendor will provide TABC licensed bartenders and also have their own insurance.

May I choose my own caterer?

We highly recommend that the host of the event contracts one of the recommended vendors of The Allen Farmhaus, however, it is not a requirement. The Host of the event must hire a professional caterer that is full service, stays from the beginning to the end of the event, cleans tables and any spills during the event, manages and takes out trash during the event, and takes out all trash in the barn and porches at the conclusion of the event and puts them in the onsite dumpster. They must have insurance as well and provide a copy to The Allen Farmhaus. If you would like a list of wonderful caterers that have done a wonderful job at events at The Allen Farmhaus, we will be happy to provide information upon request.

May I bring in my own A/V equipment?

The Allen Farmhaus does not provide A/V equipment. It is the hosts responsibility to provide and/or contract the A/V equipment for the event.

What do we do if it rains?

We will discuss a rain plan long before your wedding day. We will allow you to use the full facility in order to assure that regardless of rain or shine, you will proceed with your plans.

How early can we get on site the day of?

11am. If clients would like to use the facility before 11am, there is an additional fee and it must be arranged beforehand with a representative of The Allen Farmhaus.

How late do I have the venue for?

All events must be concluded by 11pm.

How do I reserve my date?

Please contact us here to book an event. All bookings are first come, first served bases.

The first payment and the signed contract and rules and regulations document are required to secure the date.

What is the payment plan and is any of it refundable?

All payments made to The Allen Farmhaus are final. All payments made to The Allen Farmhaus are nonrefundable and nontransferable. If for any reason an event is cancelled, any and all monies paid to The Allen Farmhaus to date will not be refunded or transferred to another date. In regards to monies still owed in the contract, our policies and procedures will be outlined in the contract and rules and regulations document. Venue rental fees are to be paid out in 3 payments – 25%, 25%, 50%. To secure the date, the first payment of 25% is due at the time of signing both the contract and rules and regulations document. The second payment of 25% is due 60 days after the first payment and will be outlined in the contract. The final payment of 50% is due 60 days before the wedding and is outlined in the contract.

What is the insurance requirement?

Client(s) are required to obtain day of special event insurance that covers a minimum of $1,000,000 worth of damages and names The Allen Farmhaus as additional insured. This insurance must be obtained and a copy provided to The Allen Farmhaus 30 days prior to the event. The Caterer must also have their own insurance and provide a copy of their insurance to The Allen Farmhau prior to the event. The bartending company must also provide proof of insurance prior to the event.

What can we use for sendoff?

Wedding sparklers, bubbles, glow sticks, and retractable streamers are allowed for send off. Birdseed, rice, confetti, glitter, rose petals, dried leaves and/or flower petals are absolutely not permitted for decor, send off or any other use.

What exactly is included in my rental fee with The Allen Farmhaus?

  • Use of facility and all amenities from 11am-11pm
  • 5 Hours of Combined Ceremony and Reception Time
  • 1 Security Officer for 5 hours
  • A Representative of The Allen Farmhaus on site during the event to assure the facility and amenities are functioning property

When can I schedule a site visit?

Tours are by appointment only, contact us here to make an appointment. Please keep in mind that the venue is private property, and to see the facility you must have a representative from The Allen Farmhaus present.
